A baby was born
It's been quite awhile since my last blog post. A lot of things happened already in my life right now. So many changes and im still adjusting with it. I really don't know how to start this blog entry but let me share to you as i recall the recent events in my life.
Around 3 am on December 22, i got up in my bed and went to the bathroom to pee. When i went back to bed, i suddenly felt a gush of fluid coming out. I hurriedly got up on my feet. My hubby woke up as well and asked what was wrong. I couldn't tell yet but i had a feeling that my water bag broke. Went back to the bathroom to check and boy was i right. I was then having my contractions but the pain was still bearable. My hubby and I gathered up my things and we went to the hospital. I was then brought to the delivery room by 7 am. I was in so much pain. My contractions were becoming more regular. When my my doctor came to see me, she told me i was still around 4-5 cm. I could not understand the pain i was going through. It was indescribable. I told myself that i wont ever want to go through with it again. LOL! Around 10 am, the doctor came to check on me and i was so glad when she told me that im getting there since i was already around 8 cm. Just then everything went blur as the nurse came to inject me and all the nurses in the delivery room were coaching me what to do. They were so helpful. Around 11:45, i had my one last push and i heard my baby's first cry. The nurse put the baby on my chest for a few seconds and our eyes met. She was a huge baby. After that i dozed off to sleep for a few minutes and woke up when the doctor was doing her stitches on me. By 1:00pm i was brought back to my room where my hubby and my Aunt was waiting. I was too exhausted that i fell off to sleep.
My baby would be 2weeks old tomorrow. Her full name is Chloe Sabine Salaum. She was God's beautiful Christmas present. I am so happy to have her. She is my joy and my life. Im still adjusting to her waking schedules which is usually at around 12 am. My hubby and i take turns in waking up in wee hours of the night when baby is hungry or needs her nappies changed. Right now, my baby is sound asleep which grabs me the chance to post this entry which is long over due. :)
